This Privacy Policy explains how Ace ("Ace", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you play our mobile game (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. Depending on the features you use, this may include:
- Account & identity. If you sign in (via Apple Game Center or Google Sign-In), we receive a player identifier and a display name you choose. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.
- Gameplay data. Your progress, scores, stars, coins, daily-challenge streaks, multiplayer results, and any holes you create or publish.
- Age signal. On first launch we ask for your year of birth so we can apply the right ad and privacy protections. This value is stored on your device and used to set ad settings; we do not use it to identify you.
- Advertising identifiers. If you consent, our advertising partner may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to show and measure ads. See Advertising below.
- Usage & diagnostic data. Basic, largely aggregated information such as crashes, performance, and feature usage, used to keep the App stable.
2. How we use it
- To run the game — save your progress, sync it across your devices, and power multiplayer, leaderboards, daily challenges, and the community level browser.
- To show advertisements (see below) and the optional rewarded ads you choose to watch.
- To keep the App working, fix bugs, and improve the experience.
- To enforce our Terms of Use and keep the community safe.
3. Advertising
Ace shows ads through Google AdMob, including optional rewarded ads (for example, watching a short ad to redo a shot). How ads are personalized depends on your consent and age:
- Adults who consent may see personalized ads, which can use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Players who decline, or who are in regions requiring consent and don't grant it, see non-personalized ads.
- Players under 13 are treated as child users: ads are non-personalized, no advertising identifier or cross-app tracking is used, and no tracking prompt is shown. See Children's privacy.
On Apple devices, personalized ads also require your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and other applicable regions, we present a consent choice using Google's User Messaging Platform.
4. Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to deliver the game. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Apple Game Center — multiplayer identity and matchmaking. (Apple's Privacy Policy)
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) — sign-in, cloud save, leaderboards, social features, and community levels. (Google's Privacy Policy)
- Google AdMob & User Messaging Platform — advertising and consent. (Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services)
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Children's privacy
Ace is intended for a general, mixed audience and is not directed primarily at children. We ask for your year of birth at first launch. If you indicate you are under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your region), we automatically:
- Disable personalized advertising and advertising identifiers;
- Skip the tracking-permission prompt;
- Tag ad requests for child-directed / under-age-of-consent treatment.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described here. If you believe a child has provided us information improperly, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your choices & rights
- Tracking. You can change ad-tracking permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Consent. Where a consent choice was shown, you can update it from the App's settings/privacy options.
- EEA/UK (GDPR). You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing.
- California (CCPA/CPRA). You may have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any right, email us at willpat9921@gmail.com.
7. Data retention
We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the game. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, or upon a valid deletion request.
8. Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see the Delete your data section on our Support page, or email willpat9921@gmail.com from the address linked to your account.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
